Grahamwood Elementary School's Mission is to offer students enriched academics in a diverse, nurturing environment, where hopes and dreams are encouraged. 

 

Grahamwood began in 1949 and has been growing ever since. Historically, Grahamwood is one of the most diverse and requested elementary schools in Shelby County.

 

In 2018, Grahamwood earned the Tennessee Department of Education's highest honor when distinguished as a "Reward School". Grahamwood's Optional students routinely score above the 90th percentile in Reading and Math on a nationally normed achievement test.

 

In 2019, Grahamwood completed an annex adding additional classrooms that will help us keep pace with the growing number of requests to attend our school.
