Congratulations to Grahamwood's Lisa Jorgensen!

Lisa Jorgensen has most recently served in kindergarten but now is an English Language Learner (ELL) instructor at Grahamwood Elementary School. While representing the members of the United Education Association this summer at the NEA RA in Boston, she was elected as a Southeastern Director for the National Education Association ELL Caucus. She is now responsible for communication and information about ELL concerns to and from the Mid-South area. “All of us at Grahamwood Elementary are very proud of the active leadership roles Lisa Jorgensen has taken on behalf of all students and teachers,” states Dr. D. Jackson Maxwell. “She is a role model for activism!”
