Friday 2pm Mardi Gras Parade Moved Indoors!

Brrrr....It's Cold Outside! Let's move this Mardi Gras party indoors!

Looks like it is going to be pretty cold on Friday. The high is only supposed to be in the upper 30s! Parade planners are worried that it might be a little too cold to have kids outside for an hour (plus it would be pretty cold for the musicians).

So the new plan is for the band to do the parade inside Grahamwood through the halls!!! Students will line the parade route outside their classrooms as the band strolls by. We understand it is not ideal, but it is a good compromise to keep our students warm and well.

However, the indoor parade route will make it harder for parents to participate. We will use the cafeteria as an overflow area so parents who want to attend should go to the cafeteria INSTEAD of the track, BUT we won't be able to accommodate the numbers we have had at past Mardi Gras Parades. WE MAY HAVE TO LIMIT NUMBERS ENTERING. Thank you in advance for understanding!
