CLUE teacher Laura Wilons was awarded an Arts Grant!

Grahamwood Elementary is proud to announce that CLUE teacher Laura Wilons was awarded a $900 Tennessee Arts Commission Grant! The funding will be used to bring Theatre Memphis’ ShoWagon to Grahamwood Elementary in March 2019. ShoWagon’s mission is to “expose children to the magical world of theatre.” For over 30 years, this professional touring troupe has turned the written word into theatrical experiences that inspire both students and educators. “ShoWagon stories are very original and provide a moral,” states Ms. Wilons. “Their performances are relatable to students in kindergarten through 5th grade and the performers allow students to interact with them during actor talk back sessions. Most importantly, our students love their performances!”
