Memphis Symphony Performs at Grahamwood.


Students at Grahamwood Elementary were treated to a performance by the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. They played music while our very own 1 st grade Oponal teacher Rachel Helton read the accompanying story, I Need My Monster by Amanda Noll. “The performance is a part of the symphony’s schools outreach program called Tunes and Tales,” informed Grahamwood Or( teacher Melissa Elsholz. “It was a wonderful experience and a great discussion followed the program!” Grahamwood is proud of its long-standing tradion of seeking out community partners who can create unique learning opportunies to expand our students’ horizons. We applaud Grahamwood’s Or( Music teachers for making this possible!
