Teacher Appreciation Day at Grahamwood Elementary!!!

Teachers at Grahamwood Elementary are being honored by school administrators, parents, and students during Teacher Appreciation Week. Additionally, the Shelby County Schools Board of Education agrees. On Monday, 1st grade teachers Cameshia Chambers and Emily Easley’s were recognized on the Sports Dress-Up Day as the Grand Prize and 2nd Place winners for the district! District 9 School Board Representative Joyce Coleman presented the award and prizes to Grahamwood’s teachers. Prizes included electronics, wireless earbuds, educational gift cards, and a bag of SCS goodies. “We love all of our teachers’ enthusiasm and dedication to making learning fun,” said Principal Pete Johnson. “As the end of the year approaches, these activities help keep our faculty and students focused on the creative and engaging learning environment that is Grahamwood.”
