Grahamwood’s Spanish Club Celebrates

The Grahamwood Elementary’s afterschool Spanish Club under the leadership of our Interpreter Amanda Castano and ESL Teacher Sarah Graves invited special guests from Herencia Hispanic to visit the school. Herencia Hispanic is a Mexican dance group that celebrates Mexican culture and heritage through performing traditional dances. “Our students were thrilled by the dances,” stated Ms. Castano. “The performers also took time to answer our students’ questions. It was a wonderful cultural learning experience that our students loved!”
