The Grahamwood PTO is a non-profit parent and teacher organization that provides support to the parents, faculty and administration of Grahamwood Elementary.  In order to be effective, we draw on many different parent resources, so if you have time or skills to donate, please get involved!

We support numerous activities throughout the academic year including the following:

 

  • Monthly Teacher/Staff Appreciation Lunches

  • New Parent Brunch

  • Principal's Fund

  • Library Improvements

  • Outdoor Classroom  

  • Yearbook 

  • Fine Arts Support

  • Annual Book Swap

  • Uniforms and Supplies for students when needed 

 

Additionally, we provide funding and support for larger projects, such as those listed below, based on the school's needs.
 

  • A freestanding pavilion for physical education

  • Brain Pop online study program for use in the classrooms and at home

  • 21 Overhead projectors and document cameras for classrooms throughout the school

  • Two LCD projectors for the music teacher plus new electrical outlets 

  • Printers and Copiers for teachers lounge with continued updates for ink and toner

  • Additional memory for computers in the Computer Lab 

  • Lunch room 'Talk Lights' for noise management

  • Front and back entrance awnings

  • Cafeteria tables

  • 30 new computers

  • Additional textbooks and library materials

  • Fencing around the school playground

  • Classroom supplies include special items for Art, Music, Spanish and PE

  • An Outdoor Classroom for students

  • Grahamwood dragon sculpture in school foyer

  • Resurfacing and repaving of the school track

  • Improving upon the playground structure 

  • Repainting cafeteria including customized dragon murals
