Join us for the CBU & Grahamwood Jog-A-Thon, Dec. 10th

December 10th at 9:30 am at the Fairgrounds Track Complex. Participants are encouraged to register and collect pledge donations. Spectators are welcome!

Grahamwood Elementary School and Christian Brothers University are hosting a joint Jog-A-

Thon. “The goal is to work collaboratively to nurture elementary age students’ interest and

development in the sports of Cross Country and Track & Field while fostering in the university students a healthy attitude of social responsibility and giving back to the community,” states CBU Coach Nic Fortenberry. Grahamwood’s Track Coach Andrew Martin is the co-coordinator with all money raised being divided between the two programs for the purchase of equipment and gear.

A stretch and warm-up session will be held at 9:30AM with jogging starting at promptly 10:00AM and ending at 11:00AM. Participants will complete as many laps as possible within 1 hour.

Donors are encouraged to give per lap but fixed pledges are welcome. Spectators are encouraged to bring chairs, sit in the infield and cheer on the athletes. If you are interested in being a Jog-A- Thon volunteer, please contact Nic Fortenberry (Nicholas.Fortenberry@cbu.edu) or Andrew Martin
