Grahamwood Elementary’s kindergarten and 1st grade students celebrated the 100th Day of School last week. Kindergarten students dressed up as they imagine they might look at age 100. Their math lessons highlighted the number 100. In Kamia Franklin’s 1st grade class, parents enjoyed spending a morning working with their children on activities that revolved around the number 100. “It was great seeing our students dressed up and having fun while creatively learning about the number 100,” observed Principal Pete Johnson. “I’m happy to report that the 100th Day of School celebration has become a much beloved tradition!” As a new twist this year, Cameshia Chambers’ and Emily Easley’s 1st graders celebrated the 101st Day of School with a 101 Dalmatians theme!
